Best restaurant, the favorite for years even if I can't come often. We therefore like to go to the family in Trier on Karl-Marx-Str. Also great and super tasty.

Have already eaten there twice and my dishes were all great. However, we wanted to organize our Christmas party there at the beginning of the year and have reserved a table. When we got there in the evening, the restaurant was closed ... something like that is not possible! Had to reschedule spontaneously and were lucky at one of our favorite restaurants (Taj Mahal in Bernkastel-Kues)! A shame, we all looked forward to it! We don't know yet whether we'll be back ...

Unfortunately, on Saturday, February 29th, 2020, we were standing in front of a closed door for the second time (!), Even though we had reserved. Our contact details were available both times, but it was not felt necessary to cancel the appointment. There wasn't even an information sheet on the door. Strangely, this always happens when a buffet is offered. Very annoying, especially since we had a long way to get there. The consequence for us is that we no longer visit this restaurant. Addendum: Dear El Tilos team, how many stars do you think I should award? And on what? I cannot judge the food, the service or the ambience. My star is the parking lot situation, which was due to the circumstance, was excellent ;-) ... and no, unfortunately we have no autom. Receive mail.

Service was very slow. Know it so that one actually gets his ordered Tappas all at the same time and not everything delayed! In addition, there was a strong smell of frying fat in the restaurant, so that when leaving the lock and the clothes smelled afterwards. The food itself was good!

Very comfortable, delicious and the service is very friendly. Paella must be pre-ordered which is a plus for the restaurant as it is then freshly prepared.

Saturday always buffet from 19.30 clock. Price-performance very good, very courteous service, gladly again! Nice would be a larger selection of better Spanish wines, z. B. Juan Gil - Jumilia - 12 Meses, so a Monastrell (15.5%).

Delicious tapas, unfortunately only pictures of empty plates available. Price ok, unfortunately good prices for quite small portions. Friendly service, if this is unfortunately very time to use.

If you are friendly service, a cozy atmosphere, Spanish cuisine, large selection in the menu are important and you like epicurean food, this is the right address. The El Tilos or also known as tapas bar, is located in Wengerohr (district of Wittlich) in a curve to the entrance of the station Wittlich. Parking is available directly on the property. When entering the guest room, one thing is clear what is important here: Here, the guest should feel comfortable. So are a big motorcycle, dispensers - older date - in the middle of the room. The number of tables are limited, which the guest might find an advantage. Waiting times appear short. But they are not mandatory. The food is freshly prepared. The food is served hot. Even so hot that the food still sizzles in its shell. If you are unfamiliar with the Spanish cuisine, you should not be afraid to seek advice. Thus, disappointment is avoided and the meal tastes wonderful. At regular intervals (usually Saturday) an "All you can eat" is performed The guest rooms and all associated (toilet, side rooms, hallway, terrace) make a neat, clean and well-kept impression. The prices are fair and thus correspond to the price / performance ratio. Conclusion: Here the guest feels good.

Unfortunately, I'm in Wittlich only once or twice a year, but then I regularly go to the great restaurant El Tilos. The El Tilos is one of my TOP favorites in the gastronomy area, in a very nice ambience manages the family again and again to enchant their guests at a very high level. The food is very good and tasted unique, unsurpassed for me. Everything is very well thought out, the service is very hospitable and really nice. It really tastes so good there, you do not even know when to stop eating, for fear of missing something delicious. Everything is fresh and delicious and it smells so wonderful after really good ingredients and spices. A true culinary delight. The food is finely seasoned so that your mouth is watering. Since I like to spoil myself as a trained cook. 😊 There is also a wide selection of drinks, beer wines, even malt beer is in stock .... Keep it up, I'm looking forward to your next visit. Best in Wittlich. Great for intimate meals, make sure you call ahead for paella.

By chance found & immediately curious, because a buffet of this kind has been new to us. The selection is not huge, but culinary an absolute hit. It was easy to try everything from everything & everything was just so delicious! Even if the staff is a bit small, the service was fast and friendly. Again, no reason to complain. The next time we are near we will definitely be back! :)

Small and cozy restaurant. Think a maximum of 20 chairs. Buffet was relatively little choice could try all dishes 3 times and were then full. Prices were 17 eur pp. which I still find okay. Service was very nice and friendly. Quality was fine. Would it be good if there were still signs in front of the dishes so that you knew what you were eating without having to ask. Otherwise, everything is fine.

Buffet was delicious! Staff very quick and quick, we sat outside nicely. Only the trains are a bit loud;) but that doesn't bother you when eating well. There is not much choice, but all dishes are apparently prepared with love.
